THURSDAY January 21 is the monthly mixer for January

January 27, 8:30 pm SOFA presents: MOVIE-OKE! with special guest MC, comedienne Linda Gambino

Have you registered for Movie-oke yet?

Hone your chops on your favorite scene from your favorite movie and come to Below Zero!

This is a free event, but a donation* is encouraged to pre-register and reserve your spot on stage!

*And when you donate $10 you get a coupon for a free snack pack from the hippest new burger truck in town, Cafe de Wheels. Or donate at least $5 to get in on the door prize.
HOW IT WORKS:
Much like karaoke, there will be a monitor in front of you, showing you the "lyrics" (aka subtitled dialogue) to the scene that is being played. You, or you with friends, will re-enact this scene, following the subtitles (if needed!)... There will be props - or bring your own! There will be no audio in the background so bring your best theatrical voice to project! You will need to be there early the night of the event to register to participate. You can choose from our list of DVD movies and scenes or BYOM (provided it is not a pirated copy of course)!
Visit the event page for more details or RSVP through Facebook
